Critical thinking and media literacy

 I believe that critical thinking and media literacy are essential skills in today’s world. We are surrounded by a lot of information every day, especially on social media, and it is easy to believe everything we see without checking if it is true. Critical thinking helps us analyze information carefully, ask questions, and find evidence before accepting something as true.

Media literacy is also very important because it helps us understand how media can influence our opinions and emotions. For example, many advertisements and social media posts try to make us feel a certain way or believe certain ideas without showing the full truth.

In my opinion, schools should teach critical thinking and media literacy from an early age so that young people can protect themselves from fake news, manipulation, and dangerous information online. If we all learn to think critically and analyze the media we consume, we can make better decisions and become more responsible citizens.
